For the upcoming 52nd Annual Grammy Awards, the Recording Academy has released the list of names submitted for an award in the Reggae categories.
Submissions for the Reggae Category include:

NOMINATION SUBMISSION PROCESS
For an album/artist to be submitted for 2010 nomination consideration, their work must be done between October 1, 2008 and August 31, 2009. Members and record companies submit entries for nomination. These entries are screened to determine their eligibility and for category placement. This screening process is ONLY to determine which category each entry should be placed.

NOMINATION & VOTING PROCEDURE
The Recording Academy is made up of twelve (12) fully-staffed Academy Chapters, to serve more than sixteen-thousand (16,000) members.
Voting members in good-standing (dues paid to-date) receive ballots for first-round voting. Members are eligible to vote in their field of expertise only and also four (4) general categories. They are limited to vote in nine (9) out of twenty-nine (29) fields. For specialized categories, a national nomination review commitee is formed (comprised of voting members from several of the chapters.) Deloitte, an accounting firm then tabulates the ballots from this round.
The nominees will be announced, December 2, 2009 on CBS, 8pm-9pm EST. There will be performances from past Grammy winners and nominees. Nominees will be announced between perfomances.
For final voting, good-standing members are only able to vote in eight (8) categories out of twenty-nine). Ballots are once-again tabulated by the accounting firm, Deloitte.
Deloitte places the winner of each category in a sealed envelope which will not be revealed until the night of the award show.
